Langley is currently developing a painted allegory incorporating anatomical and botanical subject matter that is grounded in a meditation on the seven deadly sins.

Langley executed a painted study in watercolour exploring De Florum Cultura published in Rome 1633 by Giovanni Battista Ferrari who was appointed as the horticultural advisor to the papal household and chief botanist of the Horti Barberini. The book is illustrated with copperplate engravings by artists such as: Stephanus Paulinus,|Anna Maria Vaiani,|Johann Friedrich Greuter, Andrea Sacchi, Guido Reni, and Pietro da Cortona (Pietro Berrettini).
The original Langley watercolors are available as a set of twelve while individual archival pigment prints are set to release as a limited edition series. Feel free to contact the artist for details.
